Iyom holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Proficiency certificate in Humanitarian Services and NGO Management. She also holds Honorary Doctoral Fellowship in Humanitarian Services and Community Development. She is a recipient of Award of Commendation in recognition of her outstanding contributions in promoting the principles of Humanitarian value system in Nigeria,National Development and for her labour of love and care for the less privileged all from Institute for Humanitarian Studies and Social Development in conjunction with United Nations Training and Research UNITAR.
Iyom also had received AWARD of Excellence ,celebrating Impact towards Humanity.
Award she dedicated to the great women members of OANW. The indomitable and resilient Humanitarian/ President-General Receives National OANW also received Pathfinder Award in recognition of her sterling leadership of the Global Women non profit organisation. And also Award of Recognition to her by Manufacturers Association of Nigeria.
